Rewrite.

Ok. Since it has been a looooong time since the last post, I’ll try my best to make this blog alive. At least. :)

Today, Amirah participated in the NST Spell-it-Right Challenge in the secondary school category, representing SMI Aman along with several of her schoolmates.

It was held at KB Mall at 10am.

However, she lost to her schoolmate Na’im for the final competition in Kuala Lumpur.

Well done, guys!

p/s: Heard from Fatimah, Na’im’s sister that Amirah could have won, but the judge misheard her. Too bad.

Seasonal Updates

Haven’t been updating for a long time. I apologize.

Another exam is due, with Hadi having his final semestar examination this coming Monday. Five subjects are to be tackled, which I am sure that older brother of mine will do his extreme best.

He talked over the phone informing he had lost five kilograms out of stress. Most will be envious.

Amirah and Harith had seated for their second assessment test earlier this week. Those two looked unnerved, so I assume the test went smoothly. Along with the monsoon rain hitting our roof.

Hazim and Amalia will be seating for their this coming Monday. Best of wishes for them all.

Hakim, being the only one left out of the formal education regime, is busy compiling books after books every time we went down the book store. Currently his collection has reach the height of half a meter and the weight of a whale.

That boy is busying everyone with carrying his books around. Asked what he is doing with it, “Hakim ada periksa.” [I have an exam.]

Kids.

On the other hand, I am waiting for the UPU and JPA result which will come out early of May and third week of May. In the mean time, my elementary school employed me as the substitute teacher for Malay.

Before this, it was English.

Papa is in Kuantan and shall be back here tonight. He is the seasonal lecturer for final year medicine in International Islamic University Malaysia.

Mama is busy studying and writing up her assessment for her Bachelor in Nursing with the University of South Australia. Since papa is away along with his laptop, we [the siblings] had to fight with mama for the usage of the house laptop.

Victory is mama’s all the time.

Exam Week

Our family is currently in the heat of examination.

Hazim and Amalia had joyfully seated for their first assessment examination from 24th – 28th February. Currently they are going through the exam paper, with Amalia scoring 96 for her English and a B for her Jawi, much to mom’s dismay.

Amirah and Harith are now sitting for theirs since the 2nd of March and the exam will end by 6th March.

As for Hadi, more information will be disclosed as soon as he replies the author’s sms.

That left only Atiqah and Hakim hanging out in front of the telly, watching endless CSI and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

edited 10th March: Hadi’s exam commenced on 28th February.

A New Birth

Hello and a very good day to anyone fortunate enough to stumble upon this still on the rise blog. You are reading the words of Atiqah Hanifah, and this blog will be the official blog for our family.

The reason for this blog to exist is to tighten the ties among our family. I noticed that I hardly know my own family, apart from knowing their nicknames.

I am doing my best in refurnishing this blog and I assure you I’ll give my all. Please give me time for the utmost best I could muster.

So any family members out there, link up to this blog once I’m okay with it.

Thanks, and have a pleasant day.

p/s: I’m so not used to formalities since I had two blogs of total craps. So please, bear with me as I endure this troublesomic formalities for just the lucky first post.
